Title:
  PS3 build does not boot

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Booting any image of the PS3 build of 10.10, including Alternative and
Desktop builds and attempting to boot on a PS3 using any target
(install, live, check) fails to boot with the following output at
  console:

  kboot: install
  get memory ranges:1
  Modified cmdline:root=LABEL=/ file=/cdrom/preseed/ubuntu.seed quiet --
  segment[0].mem:0x436000 memsz:14503936
  segment[1].mem 0x120b000 memsz:36864
  segment[2].mem:0x1214000 memsz:6168576
  segment[3].mem:0x7fff000 memsz:4096
  ps3-ohci-driver sb_08: remove, state 1
usb usb4: USB disconnect, address 1
  ps3-ohci-driver sb_08: USB bus 4 deregistered
  ps3-ohci-driver sb_07: remove, state 1
usb usb2: USB disconnect, address 1

  [lots of USB disconnect notices...]

The installer then hangs with the USB devices unresponsive. The
specific error message is attached as a screenshot.

I have verified MD5 checksums of the images to be correct for each
image that I used, tried using 2 different versions of petiboot, to no
  avail.
