[Bug 1212224] [NEW] system freezes

Public bug reported:

I get freezes in different situations, this time it was when I clicked
on a link in chromium. The whole computer froze, even the fan and all
the lights, (I tried to toggle caps lock without success). I had to
force shut down via the power button.

the computer is an Asus 1201n laptop. With an extra 4 Gb of RAM.

What I could see from the system-indicator app was that the RAM was all
green, so all RAM was cached/used at the moment.
