[Bug 1423643] [NEW] Trusty.2 bcmwl-kernel-source is not installing on hwe kernel on macs

Public bug reported:

STEPS:
1. Insert cd in macbook pro 2011
2. Select install
3. Select 3rd party drivers
4. Complete the install
5. Reboot
6. In the installed system do dpkg -l | grep bcmwl-kernel-source
7. Note wifi is disabled
8. Insert the cd again enable the cd as a package source
9. Try and install the package from additional software
10. Connect and ethernet cable and try and install the software

EXPECTED:
I expect to have a system installed with the bcmwl driver installed and wifi enable as with trusty and trusty.1

ACTUAL:
I can not install the driver, the additional software page locks up if I try and install the driver from the cd, It seems to install from the internet source but on reboot there is an instant crash reported and there is still no internet.
