[Bug 1427583] [NEW] package linux-image-3.16.0-31-generic 3.16.0-31.41 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2

Public bug reported:

default partitioning of ubuntu picks a far too small size for /boot/

This results in that even a very few security updates of the kernel
break due to out of disk space problems


/dev/mapper/ubuntu--vg-root  157G   78G   72G  52% /

/dev/sdb1                    511M  3,4M  508M   1% /boot/efi


suggestion:
allocate somewhat more space for /boot/    250M is maybe too conservative

sudo apt-get autoremove
