[Bug 1434822] [NEW] Focaltech touchpad is emulated as an Elantech mouse

Public bug reported:

The touchpad is wrongly recognized as an Elantech PS/2 and behaves as
mouse. It works but it misses many of the typical gestures needed by a
touchpad, like two fingers scrolling or side scrolling.

A possible solution could be to patch the kernel to have the required
driver, as you search on the web it is a very common issue among ASUS
users. Here [1] you can find a patched kernel. I will try it to check
if it works and corrects the issue.
