[Bug 1239339] Re: [SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CO., LTD. R40/R41] suspend/resume failure

I too am suffering with a Samsung R40 that usually fails to recover from
suspend, even now in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. Has anybody managed to figure out
why this happens, and what can be done about it? I've submitted about a
dozen crash reports, but I've no idea who's taking any notice. Ok, it's
an ancient relic of a machine, but I've invested heavily in Linux over
the years because of its general ability to keep old hardware out of the
landfill! Thanks all :D
