The laptop won't connect as per syslog:
NetworkManager[747]: <info> (wlan1): device state change: config -> failed (reason 'no-secrets') [50 120 7]

This is complete nonsense, as the same device with the proprietary bcmwl
drivers works, and other devices (and operating systems) works fine.

WORKAROUND: Use proprietary bcmwl.
