Title:
[Dell Inc. Inspiron N4010] suspend/resume failure
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
I shut down my computer... waited long enough I figured - and closed
the lid. Came back hours later to find it had suspended instead of
shutting down. I think this is probably the bug, not the resume
failure.
In any case, after opening the lid, it sort of resumed and then
continued to shut down as originally intended.
IMO,once the shutdown signal is received it should override a suspend
signal from the lid closing. Otherwise you have to sit and stare at
the computer to make sure it does what it's asked - and that's... not
good.
