[Bug 1441584] [NEW] Touchpad not recognized with only left-click working

I tested this with a fresh install of Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS on my Acer
Aspire V17 Nitro in the default kernel as well as the upstream mainline
kernel:
Expected behavior:
- When clicking in the right-bottom area, right-mouse click should be issued
Actual behavior:
- Clicking anywhere on the touchpad does issue a left-click
- Clicking in the right-bottom area of the touchpad issues a left-click (see above)
The reason why I'm filing a bug here is because it seems like the
touchpad is not correctly recognized by linux, which might be an issue.
