[Bug 1444332] [NEW] VPN connections with juniper network connect have zero throughput

Public bug reported:

Starting with linux 3.19 the juniper network connect client establishes
the VPN connection but has zero throughput on the virtual network
adapter.

The log of the VPN client software show the following message:
adapter.warn IP Packet too small 0

The problem is known and fixed in 3.19.2 IIRC. The relevant patch is mentioned here:
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90901
in comment 2.

The fix is not part of 3.19.0-14-generic.

A backport of the patch would be great, a downgrade to linux 3.16 is a
viable workaround for the time being.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
