Yes I can, you believe this could be caused by something outside the laptop? 
If turns to be true then I'll have to update the firmware to each airport terminal router?, each office router?, each ... you get the point. I don't believe this could be blamed on the router.

I've the same router for at least 10 years and never had this kind of
problem with it, but if you want I can get it up to date, it won't harm.
Also keep in mind the issue happens at many places, not only at my home
with my 9 year old firmware also happens with new routers with up to
date firmware.

  Intel 7260 Wireless Device issues

Bug description:
  What I expect to happen?
  If I connect to a wireless network and the AP works fine, keep connected to that wireless network and being able to send and receive packets between the AP and the computer.

  What happened instead?
  After a few minutes or some times hours, some times start dropping packets, sometimes it doesnt work at all.

  WORKAROUND: Disable wireless, rmmod the iwlmvm & iwlwifi modules,
  insmod the module, and enable wireless.
