[Bug 1448264] [NEW] Virtual terminals on 3rd gen X1 Carbon corrupt at 1080p

Public bug reported:

When the screen resolution is set to 1920x1080, virtual terminals appear
shrunk in the middle of the screen and flicker heavily. This effectively
renders then unusable. If the resolution is set to the native 2560x1440,
they work fine.

** Affects: console-tools (Ubuntu)

** Attachment added: "lspci-vnvn.log"
