postadelmaga, the next step is to fully commit bisect from Raring to
Vivid in order to identify the last good kernel commit, followed
immediately by the first bad one. This will allow for a more expedited
analysis of the root cause of your issue. Could you please do this

Please note, finding adjacent kernel versions is not fully commit
bisecting.

** Description changed:

  The Brightness FN keys (fn+f4 and fn+f5) once pressed don't generate any
- `evdev`, this happens on some Dell laptops like Inspiron 14z (N411z),
- Dell XPS 13.
+ `evdev` on my Inspiron 14z (N411z). This functionality was working fine

- It has been reported in the past but the old bugs look abandoned.
