BIOS now updated.
$ sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

No change. On boot, system hangs at the login screen. Found Logitech
Quickcam connected to external Linksys USB hub, model USBHUB04.
Moved Logitech Quickcam to onboard USB port. Login screen now normal
and operating as expected.
