[Bug 1462563] Re: Netgear USB Wifi Adapter Model A6100 AC600 Dual Band
Lonnie Lee Best, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu
better. If you will be returning the device, then please just document
the WiFi device via
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HardwareSupportComponentsWirelessNetworkCardsNetgear
.
However, if you will be keeping the device, and willing to work through
the debugging steps necessary to ensure a "it just works" experience,
then Launchpad would be the proper venue, and please provide the
information requested in
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1462563/comments/1
.

Title:
Netgear USB Wifi Adapter Model A6100 AC600 Dual Band
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I just purchased, from Walmart, this USB Wifi Adapter:
Netgear Wireless AC Adapter AC600 Dual Band Model A6100-10000S
This device doesn't automatically work in Ubuntu 15.04, so I thought
I'd document an lsusb here before taking it back to Walmart. Perhaps
this will help someone googling about the device.
