Title:
  no battery detected

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I'm running an updated(2008-04-15) Hardy release on my Acer Aspire 3003LMi
  In previous releases i had a working battery meter but now it doesn't detect it at all.

  When I try to run "cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT1/state" i only get
  cat: /proc/acpi/battery/BAT1/state: Bad address
