Title:
Permit to build for older kernel

Status in dkms package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Hello,

In our derivative we provided a patched Ubuntu kernel, today for lucid
  we are at version 2.6.32-47-eole.

To avoid overpatching the kernel for drivers, we provides DKMS
packages, but we have an issue with detection of newest kernel
  version.

If the current system is running 2.6.32-47-generic (from CD
installation for example), when we install our 2.6.32-47-eole and its
headers, the DKMS package is built and installed only for the
  -generic.

The work around is to let dkms_autoinstaller do the job: 1) install
the DKMS module, then install the kernel headers, installing both in
the same "apt-get install" invocation fails.

I made a patch to add an option to build the DKMS modules for all
  installed kernels.

  Regards.
