[Bug 1480642] Re: systemd-boot

Anthony Buckley, the next step is to fully commit bisect from kernel
3.16 to 3.19 in order to identify the last good kernel commit, followed
immediately by the first bad one. This will allow for a more expedited
analysis of the root cause of your issue. Could you please do this
following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/KernelBisection ?

Please note, finding adjacent kernel versions is not fully commit
bisecting.

Thank you for your understanding.

** Description changed:

- Following advice as per Release Notes
- (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/VividVervet/ReleaseNotes)
+ Just upgraded from 14.10 to 15.04 and now Ubuntu fails to start from powering up. I select 'ubuntu' on the grub loader screen and then get a blank screen. Computer just hangs. Have tried Ctrl+Alt+1 etc., and also leaving for several minutes but nothing happens.
+ Once I power down manually and restart and try again I see a message:
+ 'ACPI PCC Probe failed, starting version 219' and PC boots OK.
