[Bug 1518623] Re: Letters missing in most programs

At some point in previous versions I was thinking it might be caused by
having little memory that makes something crash (I had 4GB and Firefox
goes to creating Swap very fast if it is used for a while), but now I
have 8 GB of memory and I see the bug. Must be some other cause but it
is a very bad one.

Title:
  Letters missing in most programs

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I thought this bug was fixed in Ubuntu 15.04, but now I am having it.
It is a nasty bug making Ubuntu useless, I must restart (at least this
is how it worked in previous version of Ubuntu) to get my computer
back. I do not know if there is a coincidence, but I started Firefox
and then the bug was triggered.
