Title:
lucid beta 1 fails to mount external USB 3.0 storage

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Rebooting system and attaching storage (WD MyBook 3.0 1 TB external
hard drive, attached via USB 3.0 connection. Drive attaches, mounts
and transfers data fine in Karmic).

System log spam ends because I've run through ubuntu-bug storage and followed its instructions to unplug and replug the device; if I hadn't the 'Device not responding to set address' would have continued indefinately. (AS this happens, the HD activity LED is flashing constantly).
