[Bug 1539852] [NEW] Ubuntu detects no bluetooth devices, Windows 10 on same laptop detects dozen

Public bug reported:

Ubuntu detects no bluetooth devices, Windows 10 on same laptop detects
dozen which is probably all bluetooth devices on this floor of this
apartment house.

I have no idea what Bluetooth chipset I have, the only information I
found with googling and various system information tools is "realtek". I
am hoping that either Apport includes that information or you could tell
me how do I dig out that information.
