That was the intent, however looks like some more discussion is required with Mikey.
I'll post the definitive link to the patch here once we have something.

  There is a missing fix on top of the CAPI patches that was already
  accepted in Ubuntu 16.04 regarding Xilinx card.

  The patch will be send later today.
