  System fails to enter suspend mode on ubuntu 16.04 LTS (beta2) - did
  work on ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

  Events:
  * closing the laptop lid, or
  * calling `sudo pm-hibernate` via terminal

  Effect:
  * Screen goes black
  * System stays on, but no commands are acknowledged (mouse, keyboard, trying to switch to tty1 via CTRL+ALT+F1)

  Expectation:
  * System enters standby
