[Bug 1575260] Re: Failed to start Daemon for power management.

 

It seems this problem caused the 'Screen Display' utility to fail :

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1577760

and was worked around by making a new symlink :

sudo ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libusbmuxd.so.4.0.0 /usr/lib/x86_64
-linux-gnu/libusbmuxd.so.2

It seems some binaries aren't linked correctly.

  One of the many issue since upgrading to 16.10, I get this in my
  syslog :
