Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v4.6 kernel[0].

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag:
'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as
"Confirmed".

Title:
  Freeze Screen

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
   I am "just" surfing the internet(not running other app) with Chromium and suddenly it freezes. 
  No keyboard or mouse response the only option shutdown button. 
  My laptop it's an HP Pavillon x360, before the upgrade I was using Ubuntu14.04 and I never had this kind of freezes.
  I Just  upgraded to Ubuntu 16.04 (previously 15.04 as recommended) and I doesn't make other change (software or hardware) 
  The two days I am using ubuntu 16.04  I get the same error.
