[Bug 876285] Re: Logitech diNovo Edge bluetooth keyboard disconnects immediately after connecting (regression)

This is reported against an old version of Ubuntu and many things has
changed since then. Because of that we won't fix this issue however if
this behavior repeats on a modern version please fill a bug report
against it and we will take it from there.

** Changed in: bluez (Ubuntu)

Title:
Logitech diNovo Edge bluetooth keyboard disconnects immediately after
  connecting (regression)

Status in bluez package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
On Oneiric (11.10) the logitech diNovo edge keyboard no longer works.
It used to function with the supplied dongle (which was recognized as a regular USB keyboard/mouse combo under natty and earlier. Unfortunately now it is recognized as a bluetooth dongle.

I can pair the keyboard to either the built in bluetooth or the
bluetooth dongle, but only once after reboot. The next time I try it
connects but immediately disconnects (after less than a second). I've
tried it with the gnome-shell bluetooth extension as well as using
blueman. Blueman gives better fedback but the problem seems to be the
  same in both cases.
