This is reported against an old version of Ubuntu and many things has
changed since then. Because of that we won't fix this issue however if
this behavior repeats on a modern version please fill a bug report
against it and we will take it from there.

Title:
  bluetooth keyboard/mouse stop working on upgrade 10.04 -> 10.10

Status in bluez package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Hardware concerned: Intel D945GCLF (Atom) with ATI Radeon HD 4350 PCI
  and Logitech diNovo Edge bluetooth keyboard/mouse.

  Started with a working 10.4 install. In a Konsole window, I did a
  network distribution upgrade with do-release-upgrade

  Packages were downloaded and installed. At some point, during
  configuration, it asks me if I want to replace the customized file
  /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.cupsd but my keyboard and mouse are not
  responsive and I can't answer.

  Plugging in a spare USB mouse and keyboard did not work.

  The only thing that worked was a hard power off and on again.
