Message #180696
[Bug 1584233] Re: No bluetooth audio regardless of profile
Does this issue go away if you boot back into the prior kernel version?
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v4.6 kernel[0].
If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.
If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag:
'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.
Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as
"Confirmed".
Thanks in advance.

Title:
No bluetooth audio regardless of profile
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
As of this morning's upgrade, I no longer have bluetooth audio. Both
my audio headsets will connect, and they show up in the sound dialog
box as options, but they cannot be selected as options, the dialog box
that lets use choose between hsp or ad2p still says analog stereo, and
if I test the sound, it comes from the speakers.
I am using ubuntu 16.04LTS with the 4.4.0-23-generic kernel. I am
using Cinnamon 3.0 with Blueberry as my bluez frontend.
