This is a rare problem. I think I've seen this happen a couple of times in
the last several months. In that time, the kernel has updated more than once.
I could switch to upstream kernel, though again I suspect upstream would
update more than once before I would see a recurrence.

Is it still useful to test upstream for something that occurs so rarely?

Bug description:
Once in a long while when I bring my laptop out of sleep, the wifi
fails to connect. I don't see any obvious issues except that the
kernel log shows that the wifi link is not ready.
When I removed and reinserted iwlwifi, the network came up as
expected.
