  [Lenovo ThinkPad W510] Backlight stays on after screen off timer;
  screen off timer can not be disabled

Bug description:
  When the system is idle for the time specified in
  org.gnome.desktop.screensaver the screen fades to black (and lockes if
  set) but the backlight stays on.

  Also: the timer can not be turned off entirely. If the time is set to
  "Never" it still fades to black after some time.
