[Bug 1037134] Re: Variable wait when going out of suspend using xfce/xubuntu
Hi Aleksandar,
I am putting this bug to invalid because you say that you were able to fix the problem.
If it really is a bug, and it is not fixed yet, then please read "Adding debug info to a bug report" at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/KernelTeamBugPolicies to attach more information about your system to the bug report, and then set the status of the bug back to "New".
Regards,
Ross

Title:
Variable wait when going out of suspend using xfce/xubuntu
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Ubuntu 12.04 LTS xfce/xubuntu
What happened is for a long time I had an issue that when I want to
work on always on computer and I want to get the screen, the screen
would be black with one line on top (with time) somewhat available and
mouse would be working but nothing else. The time of the wait would
depend how long I didn't use the machine. If I login for another
machine and do top I would see that CPU is being used to process
something graphical.
I was able to fix the bug when playing with screen saver controls.
Even though I was running xfce/xubuntu gnome screen saver was active
and making problems and ubuntu offer to kill gnome screen saver which
I accepted.
I might get the same issue if I restart the machine but the problem is
hopefully fixed now for me I just wanted to share the knowledge.
