Title:
  Error upgrading 13.04 to 13.10

Status in “b43-fwcutter” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
After running a dist-upgrade on 13.04 to upgrade to 13.10 some error
occurred and a dpkg -a was executed

After I restarted the machine the Software updater says eveything is
  fine.

i'm pretty sure a lot of packages didn't install correctly after that.

The error presented itself when the firmware-b43-installer was not
dowloaded and couldn't be installed, a popup appeared and the
  installation stopped.

  I have a macbook pro early 2011
