[Bug 1244691] [NEW] CF card is no longer detected after the recent upgrade

Public bug reported:

The operating system is no longer responding to the CF card insertion
into the built-in card reader (the reader supports multiple cards, I am
using SanDisk Extreme Pro 160 MB/S 16 Gb) . The card also not visible
with the disk utility (shows "no device") and also cannot be mounted
manually (shows mount: no medium found on /dev/sdb).

The green light on the reader still lights up after inserting the card.
