[Bug 1243300] Re: Network disabled after suspend on saucy

For me, IBM R61i x86, ubuntu 13.10.

* Suspend and wakeup for the first time, everything goes fine;
* Suspend again, and wakeup, network become "unmanaged";
* "sudo service networking restart", system freezes.

No such issue when I was using 13.04 release with nvidia video driver, so may be a regression.

Title:
  Network disabled after suspend on saucy

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Every third time or so, when my laptop is waked up after suspend,
  network is disabled and can not be enabled through the network menu.
  Clicking "Enable network" just produces a tick in the menu item but
  nothing else is changed. I can do "sudo service network-manager
  restart" to work around it.

  Lenovo S205 with Ubuntu 13.10
  Network driver: rt2800pci
  Version of acpi-support: 0.142
