[Bug 1249765] Re: 8086:4222 [Acer Aspire 5670] iwl3945 resets wireless connection frequently
Yup, but when I did the cat, it kept giving me an error:
# cat "options iwl3945 11n_disable=1" > /etc/modprobe.d/iwl3945.conf
cat: options iwl3945 11n_disable=1: No such file or directory
So I just manually added the options line via gedit. (Attaching the conf
file just for reference, maybe I did it wrong)
And all this is in the latest mainline kernel.

Bug description:
The wireless connection keeps getting reset and it has become difficult to Skype or to watch streaming video from certain sites(comdey central or Hulu).
This bug has existed for years, but I just havent gotten around to reporting it.
Around the time when the connection drops I see the following
