[Bug 995704] Re: 168c:0023 Atheros wlan interface does not stay connected on Ubuntu 12.04

update is available for your BIOS (0803). If you update to this
following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate , does it change
anything?

If not, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so
posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful.

Bug description:
  My wlan network card connection stays online for only one minute
  connecting to my D-Link G640T and Thomson Technicolor TG580v2. Then
  the networkmanager tries to reconnect. Sometimes it asks the password
  again.

  I tried:
  + linux-image-3.4.0-030400rc6-generic_3.4.0-030400rc6.201205061835_amd64
  + changing WiFi access point encryption type, mac address filtering, WiFi A/G/N
  + using WPA supplicant.
  + compat-wireless backport kernel noted in https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-backports-modules-3.2.0
