[Bug 1024883] Re: Resume doesn't work after suspend (screen stays off)

following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate , does it change
anything?
If not, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date
Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so
posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful.

Bug description:
Suspend appears to work fine, but when resuming, the fans and lights
come on, but the screen remains off.
The laptop is a Fujitsu Amilo 3670 and it has a new install of 12.04
(amd64).
