[Bug 1055419] Re: [Sony Corporation VGN-SR29XN_S] suspend/resume failure
Christopher, thank you for following up on this; I really appreciate it.
Unfortunately my laptop was stolen a few months ago so I can't test this
out. If the thief is reading this, could you follow Christopher's
instructions and add a comment? (I can dream...)

Title:
[Sony Corporation VGN-SR29XN_S] suspend/resume failure
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Suspend and resume last worked on Lucid on this machine, iirc. I'm
used to not having suspend, but I would very much like the option to
disable suspect/resume entirely, so that I cannot accidentally hit it
in a menu for example. If I do, and I have, I instantly lose
everything that I haven't saved; it is as effective as pulling out the
battery.
