Title:
touchpad doesn't work at all in Sony VAIO F
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Touchpad doesn't work at all in Lucid on my new Sony VAIO F series
laptop. It is not listed in the devise list (cat
/proc/bus/input/devices), so I can't even tell whether I have
synaptics or Alps touchpad.
WORKAROUND: Edit /etc/default/grub to include GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="i8042.nopnp"
2. Run: sudo update-grub
3. Reboot.
