[Bug 1214180] Re: [Toshiba Portege Z935-ST4N03] will not suspend again after suspend/resume
A few more notes:
a) This USB stick does boot when I use it in my desktop machine. It just
doesn't boot in the Toshiba laptop.
b) I used a digital camera to record a video of the bootup, and was able
to see the error message. I have attached a screen shot from a freeze
frame (wow, that was harder than I thought it would be!). It's a bit
blurry, but it seems to say:
Could not get fio for li->DevIceHandle: 2
Failed to find fs
Failed to load image
Failed to find fs
Failed to load image
Press any key to continue...
I am not sure about that first line or what it all means, but it
wouldn't boot. Any ideas?

Title:
[Toshiba Portege Z935-ST4N03] will not suspend again after
suspend/resume
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
After suspending my Toshiba Portege Z935-ST4N03 laptop once and
resuming, I am unable to suspend the second time. When I attempt a
second suspend, the suspend does not complete.
I have tried to suspend via right-clicking on the Power Manager applet, and I also tried (as suggested at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/SuspendResumeTesting):
sudo apt-get install checkbox
sudo bash /usr/share/checkbox/scripts/suspend_test --full
When running that script, the first time the computer suspended and
resumed itself, but the second time, the suspend didn't succeed. I
eventually hit the power off button and held it down until the
computer shut down, then rebooted. I got a "crash report" and
attempted to report an issue, but it didn't (as far as I can tell)
actually send the data anywhere, although I clicked Continue, so I am
instead trying this route.
