[Bug 993922] Re: 1415:2000 PS Eye driver not working

As far I can tell. The driver didn't improved.

The problem is that I'm not a good tester because I discovered that my
computer does something wierd with USB. It seems something related to
bandwidth. So in the computer where I used to test this driver the
camera only works in low resolution. It seems to work well in another
computer but maybe someone else can try.

The driver seems to work. But I cannot tell until what extent. I'm not
able to tell if it works at higher resolutions.

Title:
1415:2000 PS Eye driver not working

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Hello,

Since long time PS EYE camera stopped to work with linux/ubuntu. This
causes serious trouble because PS3 EYE toy is a cheap but high quality
camera with an 4-chanel array of audio for input.

There are some patch over the Internet that can be applied to the
current kernel. So a driver exists but it's not included.

Could you check the patch and make them work for current ubuntu?
