Title:
Intel 7260 firmware causes crashes, needs updating
Status in System76:
New
Status in “linux-firmware” package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Bug description:
The firmware we currently ship for the intel 7260 wireless card is
buggy, and causing frequent crashes.
See http://www.spinics.net/lists/linux-wireless/msg114861.html
There is updated firmware available, see http://marc.info/?l=linux-
wireless&m=138718659005765&w=2
We should get this updated, as this is becoming a very popular
wireless card (System76 are shipping it in their systems) and it's a
pain having to reboot every time it crashes...
