Title:
computer sometimes won't sleep properly when laptop lid closed

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
Even though I have my power management settings are set to sleep when
lid closed (both on battery and AC); sometimes the computer would stay
in it's regular running state and not get a signal to go to sleep when
the laptop is closed. Other times it would get the signal to go to
sleep, but the only OS goes into sleep mode, and leaves the computer
on (no, i am not making a sentence mistake). I am using Ubuntu 12.04
  LTS.
