Message #44942
[Bug 1280287] [NEW] tahr /var/log/syslog missing?
Public bug reported:
Having problems just lately with tahr. It's been running fine for months.
Screen wil lock up. Ctrl-Alt-F1 log in, doesn't ask for password. Have to reboot.
Does not reboot successfully.
Do an e2fsck from another partition comes up clean, no errors.
Now tahr boots, but no syslog?
jerry@Aspire1:~$ ls -l /var/log
