Title:
[Asus P8P67 EVO] ca0132 DOWNLOAD FAILED!!! DSP IS NOT RUNNING.
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
I'm getting this error after upgrading to kernel 3.9.0-0.4 and linux-
firmware 1.107.
WORKAROUND: Putting the following lines in rc.local makes the card load the dsp file:
rmmod snd-hda-intel
modprobe snd-hda-intel
It still displays the error on boot though, but later on, the dsp
firmware is loaded into the card. I have found that if I delete the
two firmware files (ctefx.bin and ctspeq.bin) in /lib/firmware, there
no errors on boot.
