[Bug 1266120] [NEW] System freezes when Suspending or Hibernating (WIFI driver glitch?)
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Hello, My system freezes everytime I try to run #pm-suspend or #pm-
hibernate. Generally, I am forced to perform a hard shutdown of my
system to get it working again. However, if I remove my USB WI-FI
adaptor before hand, all is well. I'm currently using a Netgear WNA 1100
(http://wikidevi.com/wiki/Netgear_WNA1100), which is connected to a USB
3.0 PCI Hub, A sebrent CP4-TU (which, I believe is a rebranded Fresco
Logic FL1100 device, as I have to use FL1100 drivers on Windows), but
have tried plugging the device directly into one of my computer's built-
in ports with the same results.
I'm currently running Ubuntu 13.10, x64 desktop edition. I've tested
this device using the 3.11.0-14, and the 3.11.0-15 kernels. Please let
me know if there's any more information I can provide to help resolve
this issue.
