[Bug 1273836] Re: Ubuntu 14.04 installation hangs with Pango WARNING

Downloaded Ubuntu 14.04 Alpha Gnome Desktop iso from omgubuntu.
- Tried installing on a Dell laptop and an Compaq Qube mini desktop. Doesn't even get to the screen where you choose Try or Install Ubuntu, hangs at the message:

- Both of these computers have had Ubuntu installed before. The Qube had 10.04 for several years, and I was most happy with it. I only decided to upgrade as it's no longer supported.
- I wish I hadn't bothered as it's been nothing but trouble ever since. I liked 10.04, but Unity is horrible, I've tried 11, 12, 13 and now 14, and I'm now considering moving away from Ubuntu.
- I've downgraded to 12.10, which is also no longer supported, but the most recent version which will run successfully.
