Message #45939
[Bug 1027798] [NEW] Battery charging status is not recognized
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
On booting my Samsung Series 5 laptop, battery charging or not charging
is correctly recognized in panel power applet. However, if I unplug or
plug in my adaptor, no change is reflected. The time left or time to
charge seems to update correctly, the status just doesn't change.
>From terminal, when power applet shows "charging":
- Plugged in:
jaywink@jaytec: pts/0: 14 files 576Kb -> acpi -b -a
Battery 0: Charging, 49%, 01:54:02 until charged
Adapter 0: on-line
- Unplugged:
jaywink@jaytec: pts/0: 14 files 584Kb -> acpi -b -a
Battery 0: Charging, 49%, 01:05:21 until charged
Adapter 0: off-line
So plugged/unplugged is recognized but not correctly reflecting to
Battery 0 status.
