[Bug 1302268] [NEW] hyper-v: Unable to perform kernel crash dump on trusty

Public bug reported:

Hi folks,

I know we are past kernel freeze now but this is a very important issue
to fix as kernel crash dump is a fundamental requirement for all our
customers. I am attaching two patches. Both of them need to be applied
to take care of this issue. Please accommodate in this release if
possible otherwise please let me know how we can provide these as an
update.

Thanks,
Abhishek

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Confirmed
