Title:
  Dimension 9200 hibernation fails to shutdown on Gutsy

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I'm running Gutsy 20071016.1 on a Dell Dimension 9200. When I select
  Hibernate from the Sytem -> Quit menu, the system seems to shutdown,
  so the screen blanks briefly, but then comes back immediately with the
  password prompt.
